Just a couple of funny kid-isms:
At our house we have a rule about no unnecessary burping during mealtimes. Yesterday, though, our tricky little Jase found a way around it. I was working in the kitchen and Jase was eating lunch at the table and I suddenly noticed that it'd gotten awfully quiet, and I noticed Jase hunched over making little hand motions and grinning to himself. So I asked him, "What are you doing?" He gave me his mischievous little smile and said, "I'm burping in sign language so you can't hear me!"
Greta, in a departure from her ear-splitting shrieks that usually accompany me brushing her hair, decided today to try poetry instead. Adapting one of our favorites, Shel Silverstein’s “The Crocodile Dentist”, she pleaded, “Mommy, Mommy, you’re hurting me so! Please put down the brush and let me go!!”
Kids are great!!

Greta looked very divine dressed up as Cinderella when we went to see the play with Aunt Melanie.
We had to make a special trip to purchase white gloves before the play, because no self-respecting Cinderella would be seen in public without them! We unfortunately couldn't find elbow gloves so she settled for the wrist-length.
Fun during intermission!
Greta got a little nervous when we got to meet Cinderella in person after the play!
